With the Coronavirus Pandemic finally hitting the United States and Anna’s school being out for the next month, I have decided to push up the start date for our 100 Day Project and begin on Monday, March 16th. If you are finding yourself in a similar situation and are looking for things to do with your kiddos (or for YOURSELF), we’d love to have you join us. Feel free to do it for a day, a week, a month, or the duration of the project.
I have started a Facebook page to make it easy to follow along and will be posting to Instagram with out daily project.
Anna and I will be embarking on our 2nd (!!) 100 Day Project on April 7th, 2020 March 16th, 2020. If you’re not familiar with the project, it’s a free art project that takes place online annually. Every spring, thousands of people all around the world commit to 100 days of exploring their creativity.
Anyone can join (yes, that means you!). The idea is simple: choose a project, do it every day for 100 days, and share your process on Instagram (or Facebook) with the hashtag #The100DayProject.
We had so much fun doing #100DaysofHandmade last year that we plan on doing the same exact theme again this year. Most of the projects will be done together, so everything has to be doable for a 5-6 year old kiddo. There will probably be some projects that are just for me to do on the days where she doesn’t feel up to it or because I just want to do something for myself (damnit).
I am excited to see what we will learn and create in the next 3+ months.
