Chocamole, otherwise known as chocolate avocado pudding, is the creamiest, dreamiest, richest, most decadent chocolate pudding there is. And it’s 100% dairy-free.
I have a confession to make: I hate avocados.
As in, you couldn’t pay me to eat them on toast, mashed up into guacamole, or any other way that people who like avocados would. I do, however, like them mixed up with some cocoa powder, maple syrup, a splash of almond milk, vanilla extract, and peanut butter.
You read that right.
I like my avocados with chocolate.
And I’ve been eating it that way FOR YEARS.
It’s seriously the best kind of dessert there is. Even my kids — who don’t like a SINGLE thing I make — agree. It’s the creamiest, dreamiest, richest, most decadent chocolate pudding there is. The best part about it (at least for me) is that it doesn’t have a stitch of dairy in it.
So even though I don’t like my avocado sliced up and served all pretty on top of toast, I’m still buying a minimum of two avocados a week so that we can always have a stash of chocolate avocado pudding (or, as we lovingly call it, chocamole) in the fridge. At least the kids are happy about that decision. Because my wallet sure isn’t. 😂
